‘We’re not photogenic’

If I had to choose the phrase I hear most often during our first meeting, it would be this one.

‘But we’re not photogenic.’

I smile every time.

Because almost none of the couples I photograph are used to being in front of a camera.

And that’s precisely the beauty of it.

You don’t need to know how to pose.

My job isn’t to turn you into models.

It’s about making you forget the camera even exists.

When you stop worrying about the lens, you simply start enjoying your wedding.

And that’s when the most authentic images emerge.
